SmartConnect is a software designed by Alas Ingenieria Research & Development Group, conceived with the purpose of link efficiently any software SCADA to the instrumentation information, including wiring and detailing engineering, reducing idle times on control system developing and configuring.

SmartConnect Server works as a bridge between HMI software and Intools database of the plant. Any HMI that support the popular technology of dynamic interchange of data (DDE) will be able to access to the resident information in the data base, generating queries about required specific instrument information.

Using the own SmartConnect loops viewer, any loop with its wiring connection between instrument and System Control card is showed on HMI screen as a graphical information. Also, tag & strip names, cables, devices and other information could be showed Specification sheet for any kind of instrument can be viewed

In addition, other associated documents can be linked, like images or text files, indicating for example instrument physical location of the on the field procedure form to save failures.

Additionally, during configuration & programming tasks for your software SCADA, it will not be necessary to manually load the data base of tags. With a simple action, SmartConnect exports INtools data base to a 100% compatible format with most of the HMI systems, so you should obtain:
