The job consisted of the automation of 3 distributed
plants in Challacó - Baguales oil field(Neuquén): Injection Plant, Crude
treatment Plant y Aguada Baguales Filtrate Plant.
The control systems was implemented with MicroLogix
1500 controller of Allen-Bradley, with scalable capabilities, anticipating
a future radial expand of the systems. Input/output analogical and digital
modules were used.
As
a remote control system, field cabinets with PanelView 300 (Allen-Bradley)
screens were installed. We built the system to be able to generate
alarms and storage historical report for events.

- Station of pre - cloacae treatment |

The work consisted in provision, installation and
starting up of hardware equipment and software for the automation of
the new station of pre-cure of cloacae remainders (EPN) on Puerto Madryn
city (Chubut). Whit this infrastructure the unloading from remainders
to the sea is avoided, taking advantage of them previous treatment,
for fertilization and irrigation of the barren zones bordering to the
city. The control system extended until the transforming station Derbes,
because the important energy consumption of the plant.

Both nodes were integrated to the existing control
system for Madryn - Trelew aqueduct. The system is implemented by remote
stations with CPUs Motorola MOSCAD 400 series, communicated between
it by radio links in UHF, covering several kilometers. The visualization
points use software SCADA Wizcon, Version 7.6.

Alas
Ingenieria replaced the previous control system (PlantScape of Honeywell)
by the current DeltaV, of the Fisher-Rosemount, given the advanced characteristic
of this equipment in process control. The system includes three main
boilers plus the auxiliary (who works like boiler of recovery), that
is destined to generate steam that is used, among other uses, to impel
the turbines of the generators in order to supply energy to all TGS
site in General Cerri (Bahia Blanca).

The system
architecture consist of a workstation and a node in the control room
Etano and another node in the auxiliary boiler control room. Each boiler
has a independent controller. The system has redundant communication
and uses Ethernet protocol, using optical fiber like physic layer for
the greater distances to cover. In addition a bond to the system of
existent Wonderware supervision settled down through a PLC Allen- Bradley
using the facilities of OPC of DeltaV system.

EDES - Command control of transforming
substations

The solution consisted in
remote command and supervising of the more important transforming substations
of the Bahia Blanca city. The remote ones are implemented with Allen-Bradley
PLCs and they communicate by a radio link with a central node located
in the Operative Center of EDES, in which, by means of the HMI RSView32
(Rockwell Software) appear the data of current, tension and state of
the switches of each substation appear. It is possible in addition to
command the main switches of each substation to carry out fast and effective
maneuvers.
In
order to assure that each remote reports the present state before possible
faults of energy within the substation was equipment each with a UPS
able to feed the RTU and to drive relay of commando of the switches.
With this, it is possible to operate remotely each substation before
faults critics or unexpected events.
The central node allows
configuration of the levels of alarms, facility to the operator the
verification and configuration of the same ones. The system login events
and alarms in historical, for its later consultation.
